Teen Program

The Teen Program provides education and treatment to encourage a healthy, alcohol/drug-free lifestyle. The fourteen-week program is based on the 12-step Alcoholics Anonymous model. The curriculum and group discussions focus primarily on the effects of drug and alcohol use on the individual, the family and their future. Smoking prevention, cessation, AIDS education, anger management, communication skills and drunk driving prevention are some of the other "life skills" topics included in the program. Each teen is admitted through an intake process that includes a drug screening, an addiction severity assessment and health evaluation. Individual counseling is also available for teens.
