P.A.T. Families Receive:
Personal Home Visits - A knowledgeable parent educator, who is trained in child development and brain research on early learning, will visit your home and help you understand what to expect as your child grows. They will offer practical suggestions on encouraging learning and managing challenging behavior.
Group Meetings - You will have the opportunity to meet with other parents to share experiences, discuss parenting and participate in fun activities with your children.
Screenings - You will receive basic assessments of your child's overall development as well as health, hearing, and vision.
Community Resources - Your family will also have access to services beyond the scope of P.A.T.
Parent Education - You will participate in classes and workshops where qualified speakers offer information on child development, parenting skills, special concerns, and school readiness.
